I hadn't heard of Motion City Soundtrack at all until I played Burnout 3: Takedown and heard "My Favorite Accident" by them. I really liked the song, and then started to look into a few of their other songs online and decided that I really liked what I was hearing. So, I was in BestBuy the other day, and I had some money left over on a gift card that I had, so I decided to pick it up.

It's a very excellent album, and it's one of the rare ones that don't have any songs that you can't stand and want to skip every time. Let's face it; even the best albums ever made by some of the greatest bands out there in the world typically have at least one song that most people don't like very much. My favorite songs off the album are still "My Favorite Accident" and "The Future Freaks Me Out", but there are lots of other great tracks, too.

I'm not exactly a music expert, so I can't think of much to say about the composition itself or any of the other technical aspects of the musical experience, but I know what I like, anyway.
