Unless you live under a rock than you've heard of heroes. The NBC show comes to dvd so you can relive it all over again. the series was really good, and they liked to throw some twists and turns at you from time to time. Definitely reminiscent of XMEN, only more about normal people drama. The dvd is pretty straight forward, episodes on disk. As for the extras, there is a 72 minute pilot that was shown during comicon, which features a different twist on the police officers scenes and dynamic. The "making of Heroes" extra was way to short, but to make up for that it has some other featurettes with the sound, and special effects. There are a lot of special effect shots in this show, not counting the super powers. but i did feel that the special features was a little flat. i would of liked to maybe see some casting tapes, or more interactions with the actors. even a preview of the new season coming up.
